Syöte

Rokua is a perfect destination for a day trip or a weekend nature getaway.

Hailuoto

Hailuoto, the largest island in the Bothnian Bay, is located about an hour from Oulu and can be reached by ferry or via an ice road in winter. Hailuoto charms visitors with its sandy beaches, lighthouses and unique island atmosphere. The Marjaniemi Lighthouse and the long shorelines offer stunning views in both summer and winter. Located about 75 kilometres from Oulu, Raahe is especially known for Old Raahe, one of the best-preserved wooden towns in Finland.
